A Tight Fit!

Mike, one of the shop technicians at Concepts NREC, fitting two really expensive parts together. The hub is at 500 degrees Fahrenheit while the shaft is at room temperature. When equilibrated, the two parts have a negative tolerance, leading to a friction fit that is essentially irreversible. There were some tense moments until everything was fully assembled.
