Searching for Jon Francis, Sawtooth Wilderness

Searching for Jon Francis Grand Mogul Peak in the Sawtooth Wilderness. The official search ended early and with a great deal of public confusion as to its thoroughness. So a bunch of folks volunteered and continued the search. We spent the day combing a steep hillside that was frequently choked with brush. At the end of the day, it became my opinion that a rescue was very unlikely and that the search was turning into a circus; so I returned to my original hiking plans.
