Juggling can be a blast in Bolivia!
In this shot, I am right next to a market stall selling coca leaves, coca leaf catalyst, alcohol (96% pure and drinkable), soda, cigarettes, dynamite, ammonium nitrate, and pre-crimped fuse and detonator setups. I just could not resist the photo opportunity so here I am, juggling three sticks of dynamite. Dynamite on its own is very stable; a useful characteristic made self-evident when I dropped a few sticks trying to get this shot. The other tourists who were not aware of how stable dynamite is (a high order explosion such as from a detonator is generally needed) were pretty nervous, the Bolivians just laughed. In the end, I bought some alcohol to give away to a miner. The gifts are in exchange for tourists inconveniencing their work.
