Sucre, the White City of the Americas

With a little money life is not too bad in Sucre Bolivia. Right now the weather is quite pleasant, both shorts and pants are comfortable in the daytime, with a light pullover in the evenings. This shot is from the town plaza where many people pass their evenings.

Sucre gained the nickname the White City of the Americas because of all its whitewashed buildings, many dating from the Spanish colonial period. They apparently have the only castle in the Americas, one of these days I will have to pay it a visit.
