Drop Off Point
This little run down village was my drop off point for a three day trek. Initially I thought the village was just abandoned ruins, but after poking around a little, I became aware that at least one family was still living there! This village was located at the site of a mostly derelict hydro power project. The main feed line to the turbines was a wire-bound, wood stave pipe. Over the next couple days of trekking, I managed to visit many of the small lakes that feed the generation plant through aqueducts. Nearly all of the dams where leaking and crumbling.
